What Is Gasification?
Gasification is a process that uses heat, pressure, and steam to convert materials directly into gas. It has been in use for many years, and involves breaking down complex organic molecules and carbon, in both liquid and solid state, into simple gases.
gasification or plasma gasification can be used to convert carbon-containing materials to synthesis gas that can be used to generate power and other useful products, such as transportation fuels.
In addition, various industries that generate medical wastes as part of their manufacturing processes (such as the Biohazardous, pharmaceutical and Industrial wastes,) are examining plasma gasification as a cost-effective means of managing those wastes streams.
Gasification is the method of extracting energy from materials by converting carbon-base products into synthesis gas (syngas). This syngas is itself a fuel, that can be used as a renewable-energy resource.
